The Schroeder Way

Each morning we will meet as a class during our morning meeting.  We will greet each other and review our schedule.  We will also go over any up coming classroom activities.  We will touch on any issues that may have happened the day before. 

Students will work on social and communication skills during this time. 

• We will read our class pledge everyday and go over our 5 simple brain based rules:

1. Follow Directions Quickly

2. Raise Your Hand for Permission to Speak

3. Raise Your Hand for Permission to Leave Your Seat

4. Make Smart Choices

5. Keep Your Dear Teacher Happy 

• We will engage in brain gym hook ups during our classroom song, We are the Champions by Queen.
• Students will also begin some basic meditation and relaxation techniques to help with FOCUS! 
• We are VERY busy in room 203!  The students will be up and moving as much as possible. 
• They will also be singing and chanting, so get ready to hear some tunes at home!
