Mrs. Schroeder
My name is Mrs. Monica Schroeder and I have been a classroom teacher for 20 years in grades K-2. I have a BA in Elementary Education and have taught in Ohio and in North Carolina.
Most recently, I moved into the world of instructional coaching. I have been an instructional coach at a K-3 elementary school in North Carolina. I work closely with our new teachers and our district-wide curriculum resources. As an instructional coach, I model lessons and lead our weekly PLC meetings. I also create & present district and site-based PD throughout the school year.
I am the founder of The Schroeder Page which is a teacher resource blog that supplies educators all over the world with tried and true classroom lessons and activities.
I am also a successful author on Teachers Pay Teachers where I write my own lessons and activities. I have written several children's books that you can check out on Kindle.
Meet my Family
I have been married for 22 years to Mr. Schroeder. He works at 84 Lumber as an engineer lumber manager.
I have 2 children. My daughter Lily is 17 years old and my son Ian is 13.

Lily is an avid softball catcher and is verbally committed to play softball for UNC Pembroke in 2021. She also loves art and music. She even plays the electric guitar.
Ian love to act. He has done 3 commercials and several theatre performances. He also plays baseball and football. He taught himself to play the ukelele this summer so we are getting close to having our own band.
We have 2 dogs & a cat! Lila is our chocolate lab and Willow is our yellow lab. Our calico cat is named IZZY. Needless to say, we have A LOT of fur at our house!
